Tinker Town Tuesday-Open Shop!

06/19/2012 - 7:00pm
06/19/2012 - 10:00pm

Work on your bike in a relaxed, social atmosphere. Participants share tips and an instructor will be there to help. The instructor's ability to assist you will be limited by time and the total number of participants. Participants should be familiar with the repairs they plan to work on. Come on out, fix your bike, get some grease on your hands, and ride off with a better bike and more know-how than you had when you arrived!

The shop gets busy! Please be mindful of those waiting for a stand and do your repairs in a timely fashion. You must take your bicycle with you at the end of the workshop whatever its condition, so please keep in mind the total time required for your project before you begin. Open Shop ends at 10pm!

Tools and bike stands are provided. You may purchase parts and accessories from our sales shop, Ciclo Urbano.

No sign up needed, just show up! Open Shop is first come first served. Use the side entrance at 1147 N. Campbell.

Be no later than 9pm if you plan to work on your bike.

If you're not familiar with West Town Bikes, it's highly recommended that you first attend a Basic Bike Maintenance class on Monday night to become familiar with the shop and make best use of the space and time.

Please keep in mind that West Town Bikes is a non-profit organization and Open Shop is donation based. $10 per hour spent working in the shop is suggested. There are few places that give public access to a pro shop, please support this resource.
