Winter Cycle Workshop with Brooklyn Fowler01/19/2008 - 2:00pm 01/19/2008 - 5:00pm Being a cyclist during Chicago winters can take a toll on you and your bicycle. This January, learn to give your bike a little love and keep it running through to the warmer weather. Bicycle industry veteran Brooklyn Fowler, currently a Dealer Service technician with SRAM, will be teaching a general tune up class as part of Links Hall "Method to Madness" Winter Workshop Series. Brooklyn will be going over general tune up details that will assist you in brake and derailleur adjustments, identifying drive train wear, simple wheel truing, and also will be more than happy to help pin point where that crazy squeak is coming from that you haven't been able to get rid of. Questions warmly welcomed, as the class is open to all bicycle maintenance related inquiries. All that is required for this session is you, and your bicycle. Class will be held at West Town Bikes, and space is limited. Proceeds will be donated to World Bicycle Relief - www.worldbicyclerelief.org For more info on the "Method to Madness" Winter Workshop Series visit www.linkshall.org or contact organizer Kate Sheehy at frogladyk@yahoo.com
